Mysterywood grew from a love of music and an attitude of I-can-build-or-fix-anything. This attitude is great in theory but often leads to more trouble than one bargains for. After many years of woodworking and fixing things, I was able to take a guitar construction course at Timeless Instruments in Tugaske, Saskatchewan, Canada . It was time very well spent. I earned a certificate in acoustic guitar construction. Mysterywood Studio was established in 2001 and subsequently became Mysterywood Enterprises Ltd. in 2007. I have produced several guitars including a bass and a Weissenborn Model 2. Perfecting the craft is a constant process.

I am certified and authorized to install the Buzz Feiten Tuning System on electric and acoustic guitars.

I do repairs and beginner guitar lessons at The Music Shop in Rocky Mountain House at present as well as repairs and construction in my shop - Mysterywood Studio.
