Current instrument under construction is an adaptation of a Weissenborn Model 2 slide. A combination of birch and koa will be used for the back and sides. The top will be cedar with Santos rosewood bridge, East Indian rosewood binding. Under-saddle pickup(Highlander). Graphtech Stringsaver nut, bone saddle, and Gotoh machines. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PURCHASE OF A CUSTOM INSTRUMENT or REPAIR FROM MYSTERYWOOD.

For the protection of the Customer and Mysterywood Enterprises, the following agreement must be signed and deposit made before construction is started
1. Craftsmanship is guaranteed for life (The lifetime of Dan Dennis) at this point.
2. All materials except nuts, saddles, tuning machines, frets, and strings are guaranteed for life (see previous) and #4 below..
3. Electronics, tuning machines, and accessories will be guaranteed as per manufacturer . Strings are not guaranteed.
4. Repairs required because of normal use or abuse will be charged for. Normal use or abuse will be at the discretion of Mysterywood Studio. Instruments subjected to extremes of humidity and/or temperature will void the guarantee. Dropping an instrument, use as golf club or other sport equipment, or use as a weapon, etc., is considered abuse.
5. Repairs are guaranteed as above.
6. A deposit of 30% is required on a custom instrument or major repair to cover the cost of material and supplies. The deposit is non-refundable once the instrument or repair is in progress or completed.
